SDT270 是一台为预防性维护（PDM）而设计的便携式超声波检测仪。系统同时具有红外测温功能和激光转速测量，以获取温度和转速数据。 SDT270 也是第一个包含一个SQL 数据库的便携式超声波检测仪，这项功能允许同时收集多类型的检测数据，包括：不同探头
的超声波强度、记录了的超声波音频、温度及转速等数据，创建成数据库，以便分析。
SDT270 是第一个以True Amplitude(全真振幅) 记录的超声波检测仪器，这项技术令超声波首次能够以精确的声音文件保存在数据库中，方便日后对超声波文件进行比较和趋势分析。SDT270 每秒可捕获多达25 万个的超声波信号样本。检测结果是非常明确、精准且可比较的时间信号，这些信号存储在系统庞大的内部存储器中，以方便使用Ultranalysis Suite Software（UAS）软件进行数据管理，音频分析及生成报告。
